Louis Cheung has recently been named the Most Charming Actor by the Hong Kong Society of Cinematographers.
The actor took to Instagram on 2 March to express his gratitude, admitting that it was made more special as the award was presented by director Andrew Lau.
Louis stated that receiving the Most Charming Actor award from professionals is a great encouragement, and thanked every cinematographer he has worked with. He added that they were all very important partners, sharing hardships and giving their all for every shot.
“There were many admired seniors present at the venue last night. I am really honoured and grateful to win this award,” he added.
At the same time, Louis also congratulated Chrissie Chau for winning similarly in the actress category, as well as Leung Ming Kai, who won Outstanding Cinematography of the Year award.
“Also thank you so much for two very important people in my life, the old boss [Louis Koo] and [my wife] Kay Tse,” he added.
