Mandy Ma has recently responded to netizens over the absence of Barbie Hsu’s children at the unveiling of her statue in Chin Pao San Cemetery in Jinshan.
Mandy, who is the current wife of Barbie’s ex-husband Wang Xiaofei, told Taiwanese media that she is not aware of the specific communications arranged between Wang and the Hsu family.
“The children returned to Beijing the day after their winter vacation started; I only help take care of their daily needs,” she said.
Regarding her current pregnancy, she simply replied, “Everything is fine.”
On the other hand, it was rumoured that the Hsu family was intentional in not having the two children at the ceremony as to respect the late actress’ previous wish to not show her kids’ faces to the public.
