Kalok Chow has recently dismissed rumours that he and Jeannie Chan have broken up, stating that there was no romance in the first place.
The actor, who attended the Chinese New Year promotional event for “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold” on 7 February, revealed that he plans to arrange a gathering with his group of friends during the holidays, including Jeannie.
Regarding the public speculation about the change in their relationship, he stated that they have always been just friends and have never developed into a romantic relationship, nor has there been any talk of a breakup.
“In the past, when we met at each other’s homes, it was mostly with a group of friends, not for overnight stays or cohabitation as some have suggested,” he said.
As for the man who was seen with Jeannie earlier, Kalok said he was unaware of the man’s private life, only knowing that Jeannie has always had many suitors, and that he was not one of them.
