BTS’ J-Hope has donated a total of KRW 350 million to celebrate his birthday and spread his positive influence.
According to BIGHIT MUSIC, the BTS member donated KRW 200 million to Seoul Asan Medical Centre, where the funds will be used to improve treatment facilities and the medical environment for paediatric patients, support home care for critically ill children, and operate psychological healing programmes.
As for the rest of the money, the singer donated in scholarships to his alma mater as well as to animal protection groups.
Said J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Ho-seok, “I’m grateful to be able to do something meaningful on my birthday. I wanted to help children receiving treatment, students pursuing their dreams, and animals in need of protection, even if it’s just a little bit.”
“Thanks to ARMY for always sending me so much love and blessings, I was able to do good. I hope 2026 will be a hopeful and warm year for everyone,” her added.
