Although she would love to do “The Queen of News” again and a lot more other projects this year, Charmaine Sheh recently admitted that her biggest plan for the Year of the Horse is to enjoy her free time.
In a recent interview, the actress, who won Best Actress at the TVB Anniversary Awards for the fourth time last year for “The Queen of News 2,” said that she doesn’t have any specific work plans or goals for the Year of the Horse yet, as she needs time to clear her head, take a good rest, and then prepare herself for new work.
“I will always have aspirations, but I don’t have anything specific in mind. However, I believe that when opportunities arise, I must strive for improvement,” she added.
When asked if she’d like to challenge herself in other areas, such as filming movies or stage plays, Charmaine said, “Actually, I really want to experience the live reactions of performing in a stage play, and I also want to learn behind-the-scenes work. I’m greedy and want to do so many things, so I have to work hard to complete my wish list.”
“But in the Year of the Horse, I hope to be like a wild horse, running freely in the direction I like. I’ve been so busy before that I don’t have time, so I want to take care of my many personal matters first, enjoy life, discover some new street food around, and hope to meet a new character that I’m obsessed with. Then I’ll be ‘in love’ again!” she added.
