It is 2026 and Benjamin Yuen is starring in a Malaysian movie to be helmed by Syafiq Yusof.
The Hong Kong actor recently made an appearance in Kuala Lumpur for the press conference of “Black Ops,” an action film that stars Sharnaaz Ahmad and Hisyam Hamid among others.
Greeting the media in Malay, Ben revealed that he will play the role of Prinze, the son of a crime syndicate mastermind. In addition to having numerous scenes with Sharnaaz and Hisyam, Ben said that nearly 80 percent of his dialogue will be in Malay.
“I will also do the action scenes myself. The scenes aren’t too heavy this time, so I can still do it myself,” he said.

Ben also said that he will be in Malaysia for over a month filming this time. When asked if he would miss his family, he laughed and said, “I will miss the kids, but I have no choice but to earn money for baby formula!”
The movie, scheduled for release at the end of the year, is produced by Skop Productions, Astro Shaw, Komet Studios, Enotech Pictures, Marvelous Culture & Film, and GSC with Louis Koo’s One Cool Films.
The film follows Johan, a seasoned operative in a secret elite government task force who is framed as the prime suspect of the murder of his wife and the kidnapping of his daughter.
