Iris Hsieh’s manager Chris recently revealed that it will take some time for the influencer’s body to be returned to Taiwan, now that the police findings have conflicted with the previous information he received regarding her death in Malaysia.
Chris, who said that he was originally told that Iris has died from cardiac arrest, said that her body was supposed to be returned to Taiwan this week, but given the development of the case, it might not be so quick due to many unanswered questions.
“The family just wants justice, they want to know what really happened to their beloved daughter, and they don’t want to hear any unofficial reports now,” he said.

Some netizens questioned why Chris didn’t accompany Iris to Malaysia, to which he said that he is not a “vampire” and will not interfere with the lives or social interactions of his artistes. He added that he respected the artistes’ autonomy in accepting work, as long as it doesn’t violate company regulations or laws.
Chris also said that they are currently discussing with their lawyers whether they should take legal action against Namewee, who was tested positive for four different illegal substances in the same hotel where the Taiwanese influencer was found dead.
