Charmaine Sheh recently arrived at the promotional event of her new drama, “The Queen of News 2” with a smile on her face, despite the grief of losing her godfather, Benz Hui.

Speaking to the media at the event, the actress said that she has to clear up her mood and live through her sadness and be professional, instead of letting her grief consume her.

“You have to get through it. We’re all adults, and we still have to work, so we can only keep those emotions inside. When you’re working, you have to be professional and not dwell on sadness for too long,” she said.

When asked if she would take care of Benz’s family, she said, “They are financially secure. I will take care of them emotionally. After all, Benz’s passing is a great loss for everyone.”

Speaking about the new drama, which will premiere on 10 November, the actress said that the second season will have her character face different types of challenges.

“This time, the story shows that no matter how capable or high-ranking a person is, stepping out of their comfort zone can bring unimaginable difficulties, from being bullied, learning how to rise again, and overcoming adversity. It’s a great theme to express female strength, and this time Man Wai Sum really showcases that side of her,” she added.
