Despite Kunda Hsieh’s conscription evasion scandal, Jacky Wu is adamant in supporting the singer and fellow host of “Mr Player”.
The Taiwanese TV entertainer, who held a livestream with fans recently, said that he would do everything he could to keep Kunda on the show, as he believes that the singer is responsible enough.
“He has admitted his mistake, and we will do our best to help him,” he said, adding that Kunda was extremely regretful of his mistake.
Jacky also expressed his ire over Kunda being handcuffed upon his return to Taiwan to cooperate with the investigation. It is noted that the Energy member was in Canada when his fellow celebrity friends involved in the same wrongdoing were arrested by the police.
Said Jacky, one should be handcuffed to prevent from escaping. However, since Kunda voluntarily returned to Taiwan to help with the investigation, the handcuffing was unnecessary.
“He rushed back from Canada, why handcuff him?” he added.
