Liza Wang and Law Kar Ying finally have the wedding photos they never had, courtesy of the team of the actress’ travel show, “Take Liza to the World”.
On 17 November, Liza posted several photos of her and her husband wearing the Bhutan traditional wedding attire as part of the latest episode, including a couple of photos at the Punakha Suspension Bridge, a couple at the Punaka Dzong palace, as well as a blessing ceremony by the Lama Master at Chimi Lhakhang.
She also posted another photo of them doing the traditional Bhutanese wedding rituals.
Said Liza, “I never expected that we would be wearing traditional Bhutanese clothing, receiving blessings from a master, and having villagers dance with us to celebrate. It was truly unforgettable.”
Law, who is currently battling cancer again, also said that his wish was finally fulfilled, as he has previously expressed his dream of taking wedding photos ever since they tied the knot in the United States in 2009.
He said that their marriage received blessings from a local master, who wished them a long and harmonious life together. Even more remarkable was the presence of villagers dressed in their finest attire, singing and performing traditional folk dances for them, making this wedding photoshoot a unique and precious memory.
