Soon-to-be dad Alex Fong is elated to share that he and his expecting wife Maple Yip have chosen a name for their unborn daughter, as well as their future second child if they are blessed to have another.
The singer, who performed for fans at his concert in Macau on 15 November, shared that he and Maple plan to have the combination of their initials create the word FAMILY.
He said the word FAMILY consists of F for Fong, A for Alex, M for Maple, I for their unborn daughter Isla, then the letter L for their future second child, as well as Y for Yip, which is Maple’s maiden surname.
“Isla sounds like an island. I was even thinking that if we have another daughter, we can rearrange the name Isla to become Lisa, which seems pretty good. If you see a FAMILY license plate in the future, I am prepared to bid for it,” he said.
Alex announced his marriage to Maple in February this year, nearly two years after the two started dating. In June, he announced that Maple is pregnant with their first child.
