Meng Ziyi’s camp has recently addressed the recent video of the actress having a mishap while filming her new drama.
In a recent clip that had since gone viral, the actress was seen filming her new drama, “Princess Shang”. She could be seen wearing a white traditional dress paired with a hat with a long veil. The veil drapes down to the ground, unnoticed by an actor behind her, who accidentally stepped on it.
As she began to run, the veil became a tether, violently pulling her head backward. Losing her balance, she falls heavily to the ground, straining her head and her neck.
The actor behind her quickly rush over to support her.
Regarding the filming accident, Meng Ziyi’s studio issued a statement, stating, “The accident happened during a panoramic shoot. Upon arrival at the scene, the crew immediately asked the on-site doctor to conduct a preliminary examination of Meng Ziyi’s condition. Aside from some abrasions, there were no other obvious symptoms.”
“The optimistic Ziyi was the first to comfort everyone at the scene, expressing that she was fine. After readjusting her veil, she has now continued filming. After filming the scene, the crew asked an orthopaedic doctor to conduct a comprehensive examination on Ziyi. The studio has received everyone’s concern, instructions and subsequent improvement suggestions, and will actively communicate with the crew for subsequent improvements to prevent such incidents from happening again.”
