Three years after their last album, it was reported that South Korean girl group BLACKPINK will officially make their comeback with a new album as a full group.
Their agency YG Entertainment announced on 20 October, “BLACKPINK will begin filming the music video for their new song this week. To present the best possible results, the members and staff are doing their utmost to complete the remaining schedule.”
“We sincerely thank fans for waiting for BLACKPINK’s comeback. The album is in its final stage of completion, focusing on ensuring the highest musical quality. We look forward to sharing more good news soon through official promotional channels,” it added.
The group’s last full album was “BORN PINK”, released in September 2022. In July this year, they released a new single titled “Jump” and kicked off their “DEADLINE” world tour in Goyang, South Korea.
The tour then continued through North America and Europe, and began its Asia leg starting in Taiwan in mid-October.
