Eisaku Yoshida and Rina Uchiyama have finally welcomed their first child after four years of marriage.
Sharing the news on social media on 10 September, the 56-year-old actor posted a photo of the blue sky and his baby’s tiny hand, and wrote, “On a beautiful morning under such clear blue skies, our long-awaited first child was born.”
“Both mother and baby are healthy. Together, my wife and I have overcome many obstacles hand in hand, and now, our little one sleeps peacefully in her arms. I have become a father. A first-time dad at 56, an “old rookie,” you might say,” he enthused.
Rina has also shared a similar photo on her Instagram, writing, “Just as I started to feel the coming of autumn, I became a mother.”
“It’s been a long way to get this far. During my pregnancy, I had a lot of anxious feelings along with joy, so I was informed after a safe delivery. And now I am moved by small and powerful lives, a very peaceful time is passing.” The actress is now a mum at 43.
