It was revealed that Charmaine Sheh has been nominated Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2nd Golden Panda Awards.
The actress, who is nominated for her performance in “The Queen of News”, will be competing with the likes of Song Jia (“She and her Girls”) and Tiffany Tang (“Blossoms Shanghai”).
It is noted that Charmaine has won multiple accolades for her performance as news anchor Man Wai Sum in the 2023 series including TVB Anniversary Awards’ Best Actress, as well as Creative Actor of the Year at the Weibo Movie Awards 2023.
The actress is also going to reprise her role as Man Wai Sum in the sequel of the TVB series.
The 2nd Golden Panda Awards will be held in Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, from 12 to 13 September. Awards will be presented in four categories: film, TV series, documentary and animation.
