A week after she appeared heavily pregnant at a press conference of her new drama, it was revealed that Honey Lee (aka Lee Hanee) has finally given birth to her second child.
On 25 August, Honey’s agency TEAMHOPE shared the good news in an official statement, saying that she has given birth to a daughter the day before.
“Both mother and child are currently in good health, and are recovering peacefully in the love and care of their family,” they stated.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has prayed and shared their hearts. Please continue to watch over actress Lee Ha-nee and her family with warm blessings and love. Thank you.”
Honey tied the knot with her non-showbiz husband in December 2021. Her first child, also a daughter, was born in June the following year.
A week ago, on 18 August, she attended the press conference for her Netflix series “Aema”. She had originally planned to attend remotely, but changed her plans at the last minute and appeared in person.
She said on the day, “I was unsure about my condition because they said my second child would be born earlier than scheduled. However, I think my affection for ‘Aema’ is a bit special. I wanted to explain the work called ‘Aema’ and say hello, so I came unsteadily, even though the due date is next week.”
