Zhang Ziyi’s camp has recently assured that everything is well with the actress, after a mishap on the stage of the Huabiao Awards last weekend (27 April).

Mainland media reported that the actress recently had a slip and fall at the awards, when she stepped on scattered wires and lost her balance while leaving the stage after performing a poetry recitation with Jackie Chan and Wang Yibo.

Following the incident, a netizen posted a video, saying that they saw Zhang sitting in a wheelchair and being pushed by staff at a high-speed railway station, hiding behind a mask and a pair of sunglasses.

“It seems that she fell hard,” said the netizen.

After the video went viral, Zhang’s rep Ji Lingling addressed the actress’ health situation, saying, “She has seen a doctor and things are getting better. There is no problem.”
