It was reported that Dee Hsu has recently moved from her high-end Dibao residence to stay with her mother Huang Chun-mei, who is still grieving the loss of Dee’s sister, Barbie Hsu.
It was reported that Madam Huang is still very much mourning the death of Barbie, who passed away in February this year. She recently posted online that she had to see a psychiatrist and even had a cardiac stimulant injection, but was still unable to cope with the grief.
On 27 April, she took to Facebook to express her sadness, writing, “I miss you. It breaks my heart.”
Her deep grief reportedly has affected both Dee and Barbie’s husband DJ Koo, who both have not resumed their work since the loss. It also reportedly prompted Dee to move out of her home in Dibao to stay with her mother in her luxury residence that was bought by Barbie during her lifetime.
Sharing her sadness via her rep, Dee expressed, “My sister’s death is like the end of the world for me. I miss her every day, write songs for her, and wonder when I can cheer up and start working, because I know my sister hopes that I can cherish myself and still work, so this is what I do and think about every day!”
