Stephenie Lim recently announced that she has ended her marriage with actor Sun Xing for the second and maybe last time.
The Malaysian-born actress shared the news on Facebook on 8 April, writing, “Today, I choose to stand up and announce a fresh start for myself! I, Stephenie Lim, have officially signed a divorce, ending more than 20 years of marriage and so-called family relationship with Mr. Sun Xing. From now on, any actions by him have nothing to do with me and my son!”
Saying that there will be no more compromises, Stephenie said that enough is enough and that she will no longer take responsibility for the mistakes of others.
“This is not the end but the real start of my life. I know I deserve it. I am worthy to be loved and happy. Worth having your own sunny day and smile,” she added.
Thanking everybody for the support, Stephenie said that she and her son will live well in days ahead.
Stephenie and Sun first tied the knot in 2001, but ended the marriage in 2007 amid Sun’s extramarital affair. However, the two rekindled their romance back in 2014 and remarried before breaking up again due to another one of Sun’s scandals. However, they did not legally divorce at the time.
The two last reunited in late 2024.
