A woman claiming to be a celebrity maternity nanny found herself having to clarify that Jelly Lin Yun was not pregnant after sharing a photo with the actress.
It was reported that on 22 April, a social media account called “MsChunglife” posted a message saying that she has been a maternity nanny for the people in the industry for more than 15 years. She stated that she has now retired but will continue to share her daily life with netizens.
Her profile also revealed, “I have advised Angelababy, Tong Liya, Yang Zishan and other celebrities on pregnancy and childbirth nutrition.”
However, the nanny sparked speculations by sharing a photo with “The Mermaid” actress, Jelly Lin Yun, with many expressing curiosity as to why the unmarried actress is seen with her.
“Is she having a baby soon?”, “Is she secretly with a child?” were among the questions asked by netizens.
To that, the nanny had to clarify that it was just a photo taken at a friend’s house, adding, “Please don’t speculate. Thank you.”
Soon, the president of Beijing Fonghong Pictures Zhang Xiaobo also refuted the rumour, saying that the photo was taken when Jelly came to his home two years ago, and Ms Chung was also there at the time.
At present, the original post that sparked the controversy is no longer visible and the account has been cleared.
