It looks like Huang Zitao is truly serious about his sanitary napkin venture, as he recently shared the progress of his manufacturing plans.
On 9 April, the singer released a video to officially announce his role as a mentor on “The Rap of China 2025”, saying that he would be airing live during the recording of the show that night to announce the latest development of his said project.
Just as promised, he then shared that evening that he will be distributing 50,000 sanitary napkins for free as a trial, and that everybody can give their feedbacks in the comment area.
Tao also said that the final version of the sanitary napkin will be finalised based on the feedbacks.
“I am betting everything on this business. For us, it is a bet on our entire future, all our reputation and everything. I will not allow anything bad to happen,” he said.
It was back in late March that Tao announced that he is going into the sanitary pad business after watching an expose concerning repackaged flawed sanitary pads.
Tao stated that wife Xu Yiyang has already tested several samples that they have created.
