Global comedy icon Jo Koy is set to return to Kuala Lumpur this June.
The comedian will be holding his critically acclaimed tour, “Just Being Koy” on 18 June 2025 at Mega Star Arena, promising fans a night of non-stop laughter, cultural comedy gold, and unfiltered realness.
Presented by LOL Asia and Bohm Presents, this marks Jo Koy’s much-awaited comeback to Malaysian shores — and the energy is electric.
A true master of stand-up, Jo Koy has come a long way from his humble beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house to selling out arenas across the globe. His uniquely relatable comedy inspired by his colourful family has won over audiences worldwide, turning everyday moments into comedic gold.
Jo Koy has been shattering records at some of the world’s most prestigious venues. In 2022, he sold out the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle (over 14,000 tickets) and closed his tour with a record-breaking show at Tacoma Dome (over 19,000 tickets). He remains the only comedian to sell out six shows at The Forum in Los Angeles and two shows at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Jo Koy’s comedic genius has also been immortalised on Netflix. In 2023, he inked a two-special deal with the streaming giant, kicking off with “Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn”, filmed at The Kings Theatre. With four highly rated Netflix specials – including “Live From The Los Angeles Forum”, “Comin’ In Hot”, and “Live From Seattle” – Jo Koy has captivated millions. His first variety special, “Jo Koy: In His Elements”, showcased Filipino-American talent in an electrifying Manila-set performance.
