Nozomi Tsuji recently announced that she is pregnant with her fifth child.
Sharing the good news on social media on 4 March, the former Morning Musume member posted a photo of all her family members making a peace sign to form a star around a keychain with a picture of a mother and a baby.
She posted, “I have an announcement for everyone. This time, we have been blessed with a new life, our fifth child. Finally, my health has begun to stabilise, and with my eldest daughter first TGC (Tokyo Girls Collection) successfully completed, I decided that now is the right time to share this news.”
“It’s been 7 years since I’ve been pregnant and had a baby, and honestly, there are many anxieties, but with the support of my family, I want to continue working as much as possible, while prioritising my health. I would be happy if you could kindly watch over us with warm support,” she added.
Nozomi tied the knot with actor Taiyo Sugiura in June 2007 after announcing her pregnancy in May. The couple welcomed their first daughter the same year, and had their first son in 2010.
The two later welcomed two more sons in 2013 and 2018.
