Jennie’s first studio album, “Ruby” has been listed by the Grammys as one of the “Must Hear” albums this month.

According to the Grammy website, along with October 2024’s hit “Mantra” and January’s “Zen”, “Ruby” is, so far, living up to the promise of being a “sonic experience that explores a sundry of genres” and posits her as a global force.

The BLACKPINK member is the latest to drop her debut studio album after members Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo released their own single projects. The album is her first release after leaving YG Entertainment and establishing her own label, OddAtelier and partnering with Columbia Records.

It is noted that Jennie will also be making her solo debut at Coachella in April.

Aside from Jennie, other singers whose new albums were featured by Grammy include Lady Gaga, Caylee Hammack, Mackenzie Carpenter, as well as ITZY leader, Yeji.
