China’s new generation singer-songwriter Ge Bi Lao Fan has extended his music journey overseas for the first time, by officially announcing that he will be bringing his tour “Ge Bi Lao Fan_Fan Kaijie <On the Way> Malaysia Concert” to Malaysia in April.
The concert, which will be held on 12 April, will unite the singer and his fans at the Arena of Stars, Genting.
Ge Bi Lao Fan, who has 8.59 million followers on Douyin, has appeared on popular variety shows such as “The Treasured Voice” and “I’m CZR”, already has 57 chart-topping hits on NetEase Cloud Music. In November 2020, he was listed on the Forbes China 30 Under 30 Elite List and in 2023, he won the Annual Original Musician Award at the Asian Music Awards.
The star, whose real name is Fan Kaijie, has loved folk music since he was a child. He is self-taught and composed his first song in high school. He has conquered the hearts of countless fans with his magnetic voice and delicate and touching lyrics and has continuously made breakthroughs in music, refreshing the public’s perception and expectations of him again and again. Today, he has become one of the most popular singer-songwriters in China.
Tickets will be available for purchase by Genting Gold Card members and above at 12 noon on 11 March, and tickets for the public will be available at 12 noon on 13 March.
