BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to cooperate with Seo In-guk in the new Netflix rom com series, “Boyfriend on Demand” (working title).
The drama will have the singer playing the role of Seo Mi-rae, a career-driven webtoon producer who finds her love life taking an unexpected turn when she receives a “Monthly Boyfriend” device that allows her to date seemingly perfect virtual suitors.
On the other hand, Seo plays Seo Mi-rae’s rival Park Kyeong-nam, who is more than just his frosty exterior.
The drama will be helmed by Kim Jung-sik of “No Gain No Love” fame.
This will be Jisoo’s latest acting work following JTBC’s “Snowdrop” and her new Prime Video series “Newtopia”.
On her music front, Jisoo previously inked a global deal with Warner Records for her solo music career, with her first solo mini album “Amortage” releasing on 14 February.
