Michelle Chen’s camp has recently released their own statement following the actress’ joint statement of divorce with her ex-husband Chen Xiao.
On 18 February, her studio related that there have been a large number of false rumours on the Internet about the divorce, which have affected Michelle’s reputation.
The company stated, “We hope that everyone will give the parties space, and everything is subject to the official announcement.”
They also said that “family members are the most important people to both parties” and that “any unwarranted speculation and harm to family members are unforgivable”.
The studio also thanked the outside world for their concern towards Michelle and hope that they will give her time and space to focus on her work and life.
“Please pay more attention to the actor’s work and not unwarranted speculation about her personal life,” they added.
