Alex Fong recently announced that he is now married to girlfriend of two years, Maple Yip.
The news was shared by the Hong Kong singer-actor on social media on Valentine’s Day with two photos at a pier believed to be in Santa Monica, California, including one where the two of them were standing and looking at a banner in the sky carrying the words, “Maple, Marry Me?”
“We got married here. Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day. #itsawonderfonglife,” he posted.
Many friends took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including Linda Chung, who posted, “I am sooo happy for you two. May love and unity always surround you both.”
Alex confirmed his relationship with Maple in 2023. Maple was already known at the time following her appearance in the Netflix documentary, “In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal”, where she spoke about being the victim of the South Korean cult leader, Jung Myung-seok.
Alex was not only publicly supporting her but also expressed his willingness to accompany Maple to South Korea to testify in court.
