Yang Zi was elated to have been named Drama Actress of the Year at the Tencent Video All Star Night 2023.
As reported on Sohu, the actress, who looked stunning in all black, expressed happiness over being honoured with the award, as it is not easy to win one.
“I was once very lost and had low self-esteem. I want to say, as long as you focus on yourself and work hard to do the things you need to do, you will shine in a different sky,” she said.
“Just like this year, because of ‘Lost You Forever’, I gained more recognition, approval and encouragement from more people,” she added.
Yang Zi then thanked all her fans and audiences, saying that she was able to show her ability in front of the camera because of them.
“In the future, I will try and have better works to repay everyone,” she expressed.
Aside from Yang Zi, other winners include Dilraba Dilmurat (Most Commercially Valuable Artiste of the Year), Zhao Lusi (Most Popular TV Drama Actress of the Year), and Wang Yibo (Most Popular Movie Actor of the Year).
