Hetty Koes Endang’s concert, “After Hours with Hetty Koes Endang” has been postponed to February next year due to a matter pertaining to a special permit for performance by foreign artistes.
Organiser, Visual Print Sdn Bhd stated that the decision was made to reschedule the original 11 November show was due to the fact that the Indonesian songstress, known to her Malaysian fans as Bunda Hetty, is tied to her duty as one of the judges on the hit singing competition, “All Stars Gegar Vaganza”.
“The submission for the permit will only be accepted by Central Agency for Application for Filming and Performance by Foreign Artistes (Puspal) after her cooperation with ASTRO concludes [in December]. Hetty can’t have two work permits at the same time,” said Anis Fathiah Abd Hamid, the executive director of the concert organiser.
“We apologise to all of Hetty’s fans who have been anticipating the concert. We will work hard to ensure that the concert can be organised on 24 February at Shah Alam Convention Centre,” she added.
As for the singer herself, Hetty stated that she is fine with the postponement.
“I am also busy going back and forth for ASGV. What’s important is to take good care of the health so that everything will go smoothly,” she added.
The upcoming show, which will feature Zul 2 By 2 and her own daughter, Afifah Yusuf, will be held on 24 February 2024.
