Eric Tsang has responded for the first time regarding the injury suffered by Michelle Wai while filming her new acting project, “Lies Hunter”.

The producer, who was asked about the lip injury that the actress sustained on the set of the show, stated that Michelle was filming a heated argument scene with a male actor at the time and that the actor was wearing a prop watch.

Eric said that the actor was asked to make a large swinging motion during the scene, and that Michelle was sitting down when they were filming the first time. However, the actress decided to stand up when they did a second shot, and was accidentally hit by the male actor’s waving arm.

The producer said that the watch accidentally struck Michelle’s face head-on, shattering the glass instantly, and the shards cut her lips.

Since the incident happened so suddenly, Eric stated that no one at the scene was prepared. Calling it “truly terrifying,” he revealed that the male actor involved felt extremely guilty afterward, repeatedly apologising to Michelle.

Michelle has now returned to work following the incident and remains optimistic about the whole situation.
