Celebrity couple KathNiel have recently been named the top celebrity taxpayers in the country for the year 2022.
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) recently awarded Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, as well as the other eight top celebrity taxpayers in a mall in Quezon City, and praised the stars for their diligence in paying their dues.
Kathryn, who is the number one celebrity taxpayer, expressed, “This is a big thing for me and hopefully, this will inspire everybody to do our responsibilities as Filipinos who pay taxes.”
Meanwhile, boyfriend Daniel is ranked fifth.
Other celebrity taxpayers who were celebrated include Liza Soberano, Michael V, Vic Sotto, Sarah Geronimo, Willie Revillame, Judy Ann Santos, Anne Curtis, Maja Salvador and Coco Martin.
