BBC’s “The Crown” has finally found the right actors to play Prince William and Kate Middleton in Season 6 of the series about the UK’s royal family.

Nineteen-year-old Meg Bellamy, a newcomer, won her first role after sending in her audition tape in response to a casting call, playing the Duchess of Cambridge as a young St Andrews University student, the very university where Kate first met her husband in 2001.

Though unknown, it was revealed that Bellamy once performed for the Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Kent, as a drama student back in 2018.

The three newcomers will be joining the list of stars who have been cast in the fifth season, including  Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, Jonny Lee Miller, Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki.

On the other hand, the fifth season is set to launch on Netflix in November, with Imelda Staunton taking over from Olivia Colman in playing Queen Elizabeth II in her later years.
