The body of actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong has been found, two days after she fell from a speedboat.
The news was confirmed by the actress’ brother Dayos Detjob, who also joined the search operation, saying that the body found floating in the Chao Phraya River near the Pibul Songkhram 1 pier in Nonthaburi on 26 February was indeed his sister.
He also thanked everybody involved in the 38-hour search.
The 37-year-old “Ghost of Mae Nak” actress fell off a speedboat at about 10pm on 25 February while travelling with five others, including her personal manager, from Krung Thon Bridge in Bangkok to the Rama VII Bridge in Nonthaburi.
Reportedly, Tangmo, who was not wearing a life jacket, had been sitting on the back of the boat before her fall.
