The highly-anticipated Season 2 of Netflix’s hit Regency Era series, “Bridgerton” has recently concluded filming.
The news was announced by the rumour-monger-in-chief herself, Lady Whistledown via its actor Nicola Coughlan, who shared a photo of a beautifully decorated cake topped with a quill and ink with the silhouette of said character.
She posted, “And that’s a wrap on Pen. I can’t wait to share this season of Bridgerton with you, it’s been a complete joy. I’m so proud and so excited for you all to see it.”
“See you in 2022/1814. Yours Truly, Lady Whistledown,” she added.

Coughlan plays Penelope Featherington, the close friend of Bridgerton’s fifth sibling, Eloise, who is also secretly the gossip columnist Lady Whistledown.
The second season, which will revolve around eldest Bridgerton sibling Anthony and his quest for love, will begin streaming in 2022. However, no exact date has been announced for the time being.
