Rather than celebrating her birthday with a lavish party, Fish Leong recently revealed that she has instead decided to do a good deed on her birthday.

As reported on Epoch Times, the Malaysian singer, who turned 43 on 16 June, recently posted receipts and a bank remittance slip of an undisclosed sum, and wrote, “I decided to do something in my son’s name. It’s better for you and I to do our part together.”

“I hope that the pandemic will disappear quickly and everyone is safe,” she added.

The said amount was revealed to have been sent to a medical group called Medtecs for the purchase of personal protective equipment (PPEs).

In another post, she urged her social media followers to do the same, writing, “You can donate it here to help with pandemic prevention materials. Thanks.”

In a previous live broadcast with fans in May, Fish stated that she had no intention to celebrate her birthday since there is nothing for her to celebrate due to the current situation – asking everybody instead to replace the “happy birthday” wish with “world peace”.
