Although she was warned by netizens to be wary of her co-star Gerald Anderson for his alleged womanising ways, Yam Concepcion stated that the actor has been nothing but a gentleman to her.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who is partnering with Anderson in their new series, “Init sa Magdamag”, stated that she actually read all the memes about Anderson, seeing how the actor is infamous for his many romances and breakups, and found the whole thing funny.
“I honestly didn’t feel the need to be cautious around Gerald. They just judge him based on what they see on TV – that he’s a womaniser. But if you work with him, you’ll realise that he’s a gentleman and is very professional. I never felt that he had malice when we were doing our love scenes,” she said.

It is noted that Anderson made headlines earlier for his breakup with Bea Alonzo and his subsequent romance with “Between Maybes” co-star Julia Barretto, of whom he was accused of cheating with prior to his breakup.
Concepcion also stated that she and Anderson were able to create chemistry on set even though they were not that comfortable being around each other at first, stating that they succeeded in doing so after communicating with one another for 30 minutes.
“Gerald was able to make me feel true emotions. I felt his honesty, as Tupe, his character,” she added.
In the new series, Concepcion plays Rita, who finds herself in a dilemma after her husband Peterson (JM de Guzman) suggests that they get their doctor Tupe (Anderson) to be their sperm donor without realising that his wife and the doctor were once lovers.
