Bernice Lui has confirmed that she is now dating billionaire and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals’ former Chairman Frederick Lui Lai Cheung, who is 23 years her senior.
The 47-year-old actress recently addressed the rumours at the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation’s annual fundraising walk event, smiling as she responded to questions about her relationship, saying, “I’m happy! Actually, the most important thing for every man and woman is to be happy!”
Asked if they plan to get married soon, she said, “No. Not yet. I’ll share the good news with everyone if there is any. I’ve never felt any pressure about it. My mum and dad have never pressured me, and I don’t put pressure on myself either. I’ll just let things happen naturally.”
When asked if she minded the age gap with her partner, Bernice said frankly, “I’m not bothered by the age difference; the most important thing is that the two of us are compatible.”
As for her recent “I love B” skywriting proposal photo she shared on social media, Bernice laughed and said that it had nothing to do with her and that it was just a coincidence.
She also revealed that she had congratulated ex-boyfriend Hawick Lau, who has started a new relationship with model Christy Lai.
