Vic Chou has been nominated for Best Actor at the 61st Golden Bell Awards, making it his first nomination in 13 years.

The actor has been nominated for for his performance in ‘The World Between Us II,’ which is tied for the most nominations this year, with 13, including Best Drama Series and Best Director of a Drama Series.

In the Best Actor category for drama series, Vic will compete against Kaiser Chuang, Jack Tan, Tseng Ching-hua and Hsieh Chang-ying.

This year’s Golden Bell Awards for Drama and Television Programs received over a thousand entries, with 824 drama entries and 883 television programme entries. 135 drama entries and 101 television programmes were then shortlisted and will compete for 27 awards in the drama category and 20 awards in the television programme category, respectively.

Vic last won Best Actor at the 48th Golden Bell Awards in 2013 for his performance in the war drama, “Home”. He was also previously nominated in 2009 for “Black & White”.
