South Korean band The Rose recently announced that it will be taking a break following the release of their new album and their 10th anniversary tour.

The band, which is set to release their new album “ROSE” ahead of their “ROSETOPIA” tour, shared the news on Instagram on 11 April, writing, “The Rose has been our biggest cushion to fall into. A place where our lives existed, fully and completely. And maybe that’s why this moment feels so heavy and so beautiful at the same time.”

“With our upcoming album ‘ROSE’ and the tour ‘ROSETOPIA’, we want to close this chapter with you the way it deserves. After this, we will be taking a break. Not as an ending, but as a moment to breathe… To grow… And to find ourselves again, individually. So that one day, we can come back to you with even more to give,” they added.

The band stressed that this isn’t a goodbye, and that, “It’s just… once in a blue moon.”

The band, which was formed in the early 2015 by buskers Dojoon and Taegyeom, made their mainstream debut in 2017 through their single, “Sorry,” with the addition of Woosung and Hajoon.
