Jay Chou recently revealed that he will be revealing a private video from his marriage proposal to Hannah Quinlivan for the music video of one of his new songs.
The singer-songwriter shared this piece of information during the press conference of his new album, “Son of the Sun” in Taiwan on 24 March, revealing that he had written another love song that will feature a footage from the proposal.
“I was thinking that besides ‘Confession Balloon,’ could there be another song for our wedding? So, I wrote a song about our wedding back then, and I thought that sharing the proposal video with everyone would be a good idea. You can look forward to it!” he said.
Jay also revealed details of his proposal to Hannah, saying, “This was originally a private matter, but I found it super funny. We rented an uninhabited castle, and everyone inside was an actor. Even the restaurant and waiters were fake. I asked Hannah to have dinner with me, but she wouldn’t come down. I thought, what’s the point of all this? So, I made sure she dressed up nicely, hoping she wouldn’t complain later, since driving to the middle of nowhere in England was a bit tiring.”
In addition to Hannah, Jay, who has dedicated a song for daughter Hathaway and son Romeo previously, said that he has also written a special song for his third child Jacinda for this album.
