G-Dragon and BLACKPINK Jennie emerged the biggest soloist winners at the Golden Disc Awards.
The event, which is dubbed “the Korean Grammy” and is now in its 40th year, awarded both the singers in three categories including Best Album for G-Dragon’s “Übermensch” and Best Digital Song for Jennie’s “Like Jennie” and G-Dragon’s “Home Sweet Home”.
G-Dragon also brought home the Digital Daesang Song of the Year for “Home Sweet Home,” while Jennie won Artiste of the Year and Global Impact Award.


Jennie also received an additional accolade as a part of BLACKPINK, with the song becoming one of the songs winning Best Digital Song for “Jump”.
In her speech, Jennie expressed, “Thank you so much to everyone who worked with me on my album ‘Ruby’ last year, including my agency, the staff and of course the fans.”
