Alex Fong recently announced that he is now a father.
On 12 December, the singer-actor shared the good news on social media with a video at the hospital, writing, “Today was originally my wife Maple’s due date, but our daughter Isla was just too eager to meet us, so she arrived a few days early.”
Thanking the team at the Gleaneagles Hong Kong, Alex said that 2025 has been a special year for him and his wife, Maple Yip.
“From after we got married, Maple said she could have four kids, to during the pregnancy when it was so tough that she said at most two, and now after Isla’s birth, with so much support throughout the process, she says we can have three first,” he jokingly said.
Alex later shared a series of photos of his baby, writing, “Before Isla was discharged, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong said they would give us a photo, so I thought it would be something very simple, so I didn’t bother fixing my hair. Who knew two photographers showed up with two cameras.”
“But when the photos came out, they were beautiful. Turns out I wasn’t even the main character. You can hardly see me at all,” he added.
