BTS’ rep recently confirmed that its member Jimin has dated actress Song Da-eun, thought it was in the past.

On 31 August, following rumours of romance between the two that sparked after Song posted a video of Jimin that she seemed to have taken herself, BigHit Music stated that the two parties did have a relationship in the past, but not currently.

“We did not issue a statement out of respect for Jimin’s private life. However, we have come to release our position due to the groundless rumours and reports that have been made surrounding our artistes’ private lives. We thus release only the minimum facts,” it added.

News outlets have previously reported that Jimin and Song had dated briefly around the time he began his military duty in 2023.

It is noted that BigHit has never confirmed any relationship rumours concerning members of the group prior to this.
