Sammo Hung has recently released a statement announcing that he is no longer being managed by his previous rep, Mabel Chan.

Sharing the statement on 13 October, the veteran star expressed, “I, Sammo Hung, along with my company, have officially terminated our professional relationship with my former representative, Ms. Mabel Chan, effective April 1, 2026. As of that date, I have completely severed all business and professional ties with Ms. Mabel Chan.”

“Ms. Mabel Chan is no longer authorised to make commitments, negotiate business, or sign any contracts or documents on my behalf. I do not accept or assume responsibility for any past actions or unauthorised commitments made by Ms. Mabel Chan using my name without my consent or authorisation; furthermore, I will not accept or be held liable for any future commitments or agreements she might make unlawfully in my name.”

Sammo also urged all partners, companies, and friends to take note of this and that any interest for collaboration should be relayed to his new representative, Elaine Chu Suk Yee.

“Thank you all once again for your ongoing support. I apologise for any inconvenience caused,” he added.

Son Timmy Hung has also reposted the statement, writing, “Issuing this important statement on behalf of my father, Sammo Hung.” However, neither father nor son explained the reason for releasing the statement.
