Newboyz is set to rock Singapore with their concert, “New Boyz Meraung – Live in Singapore”.
Vocalist Tomok shared the good news on social media with a photo of the reunited band, writing, “Assalamualaikum, good morning, everyone… God willing next month, history may repeat.”
The concert will be held at Singapore’s The Star Theatre on 5 December and will be organised by MSN Entertainment.
MSN Entertainment representative, Aynn, said that the concert is very significant in the group’s career journey, which has lasted almost 30 years.
“We deliberately chose the name New Boyz Meraung in conjunction with their hit song from the album Akur which was released in 2000. After 26 years, this song is still relevant and will be a great way to introduce the band to the new generation,” said Ayn.
