Koo Kyo-hwan recently surprised many when it was revealed that he has actually been married for the past four years!
News of his marriage was first reported by a South Korean media outlet, stating that Koo registered his marriage to long-time partner director Lee Ok-seop in 2022.
On 1 October, his agency Namoo Actors confirmed the news, saying, “Koo and Yi legally registered their marriage in 2022 and tied the knot as husband and wife. The two have stayed by each other’s side as closest companion and family… and will continue to strive to bring good works in their respective careers.”
It is noted that the two started dating in 2013, after Koo starred in Lee’s short film, but the couple only confirmed their relationship in 2020.
The two had since worked on several number of films and shorts together, including 2019’s “Maggie”.
