It would have been Barbie Hsu’s 50th birthday on 6 October, and sister Dee Hsu and the family decided to celebrate it by visiting her at her resting place.
On the date, the TV personality shared several photos from their recent visit to Chin Pao San Cemetery, bringing a couple of cakes, a bottle of wine and a birthday meal for the late actress.
The family also decorated the tombstone with pink and lilac flowers all around.
Aside from Dee and mother Hwang Chun-mei, Barbie’s husband DJ Koo Jun-yup and brother-in-law Mike Hsu were also seen at the celebration.
Dee posted, “Today is my sister’s 48th birthday, so of course I came to celebrate with her. I brought her favourite champagne and cake. Sitting next to her, we laughed and cried as we talked about our stories and how much we miss her!”
“The wind and rain kept changing, and by the end we were almost freezing—so typical of my sister. Next year I’ll be older than her, and I’ll have gained a superstar little sister, Barbie Hsu!”
It is noted that Barbie, who passed away in 2025, was 48 at the time of her death.
Many took to the comments to wish Barbie a happy birthday and sent well wishes to the family, including South Korean rapper Yoon Mirae, who posted, “Wishing you all love on this special day, happy birthday beautiful.”
