Yoo Jae-suk, the hardest-working South Korean icon has finally ended his streak when it comes to work, after it was revealed that he has cancelled a recording of his show on the same day due to health issues for the first time in his career.
His agency Antenna shared the news on 22 September, saying that the TV personality had to cancel the recording of his variety show, “Whenever Possible” due to a temporary high fever that stemmed from a cold.
“He is currently focused on recovery,” the agency said.
Yoo was scheduled to record Season 5 of the SBS variety show and did go to the filming location, but had to cancel the recording on the spot as he was still feeling unwell.
It is noted that the beloved host has had to cancel scheduled broadcast filming before, including “You Quiz on the Block,” after testing positive for COVID-19 in 2021. However, this is the first time that he cancelled work on the day itself.
