Chinese rapper Zhao Tao (aka Zhao Yutao) has recently dismissed rumours that he is now dating singer-actress Li Xiaolu.
Recently, photos of the two strolling in a park with a little girl surfaced online, quickly going viral. Many netizens, based solely on the clip, speculated that they are currently dating.
It was further fuelled by the fact that the two have known each other for a while, with Zhao Tao featuring in Li’s single, “Jingluo”.
Faced with such a speculation, the rapper decided to deny it directly in a recent livestream, stating that they are just friends.
“If you’re photographed walking in a park with a friend of the opposite sex, does that mean you’re dating?! No! Everyone has friends of the opposite sex!” he explained.
Zhao Tao was also quite candid in sharing the type of woman he likes, naming “Fox Spirit Matchmaker” star, Zhang Ruonan, and admitted that Zhang Ruonan is the only artiste he follows on Douyin.
